Abstract:

This invention is a mechanical and electronic set that, in the role of an audio detection system, is responsible for recording the sound and identifying the flow of water inside the pipe to detect leaks. In case of a weak flow of water passing through the tube, this set transmits the weak infiltrations created by the water bubbles, which hit the tube body, by a soft plastic tissue, which is a sound conductor, to the sound amplifier diaphragm. The head of a medical stethoscope acts as a mechanical amplifier of these vibrations, at the end of which there is a condenser microphone. The microphone records these amplified sounds and sends them to the processor through an electronic module for processing and leak detection. This set can be installed on various pipe sizes with a cheap price and simple installation without the need to change the piping system. This tool has the ability to monitor the sound of water inside the pipe with weak currents and thus it can be used as a flow detection system and subsequently leak detection.
